Cheena Period: "Di Zi Gui"

Hi guys, i am writing to express my views on the ' di zi gui' , the ancient cheenese book on ancient moral values. Well, how many of you think that it is useful? I say minority of the class would'nt find it useful. Personally, i find it quite irrelavant. "When you are on a horse, and you meet an elder, you should promptly get off and greet him, and wait until he is out of sight before you leave"   Ok, as far as i know, people no longer ride on horses, so it is irrelavant. If you argue and say that cars are the mordern equivalent of horses nowadays, fine. But this is what the situation would be like. As we all know, Singapore has an ageing population. Therefore, if we strictly follow the 'dizigui's' rules, we would have to get off our vehicles every 10 seconds to greet anyone older than us! (including anybody who is 14years old or higher) Wow! the LTA put ERPs all across Singapore to control traffic congestion, and Now This? This will make the LTA plant more ERPs across Singapore and soon, everybody will become broke because of this 1( I stress 1)  'dizigui' rule! Ahhhh! And this is only 1 rule......
What do you think?
